Members met at the area for a few hours to participate in the annual RAC Winter Contest. Band conditions were not great but good enough for us to make 63 contacts over a two hour operating period. Of those 46 were on side band and 17 CW. Not included in the total were a 100 QSO's made for local rag Chew.
Following our radio activation we drove to The Roadhouse Grill for a hearty lunch. A good time of operating, eating and general socializing.
We meet every Sunday at 3pm for coffee and a chance to share our recent adventures with radio technology. We really enjoy meeting new people who are interested in learning about Amateur Radio or even other Hams! Join us this Sunday. We currently meet at the food court in Semiahmoo Mall.
