These activities are attended by multiple members of the club. Generally they are also sponsored by the club but may involve outside orgainzations.

Club members were once again involved in the Tour de White Rock - July 12-14. This is a big three day event for the city and club members have been involved in communication support the past number of years. Prior to our involvement, city staff had reported several problems they were encountering

Mini-Field Day

North American QSO Party

Saturday August 18th was the SSB portion of the North American QSO Party, sponsored by the National Contest Journal.  This and the fine hot and sunny weather created an excellent opportunity for a mini-Field Day.

The White Rock Club participated in the international Field Day event from a new location this year. Our site for the previous two years was busy with community events and so we were provided a spot in the soccer field of Peace Arch Elementary School which is on the eastern side of the city
