Jim & Eric gone to the birds

Jim & Eric gone to the birds

Jim & Eric drove to the Bird Sanctuary on Westham Island to activate the park in the Parks-on-the-Air program. This location qualifies as two parks as the Reifel Bird Sanctuary resides within the  Alaksen wildlife area which is also in the POTA list. For this activation we used Jim's equipment. The antenna mast was secured by the truck's front hitch. The Dual park, dual operator situation attracted many hunters and by the time we had wrapped we had 52 contacts in the log ranging from Alaska down to California across to Texas and Florida back up to New Brunswick and many spots within. We had a good time and even saw a few birds.
