Stuart tests his mobile station

Saturday June 20/26 - Once again, Stuart (VA7QB) gives thanks to Ralph Webb for helping him with his newly assembled Buddipole last Spring. Pic'ed is today's horizonal dipole setup, giving 1:1 SWR on 17metres and 20 metres. Not many contacts, but the object of the exercise was to get on the air, and work out the 'work-flow' for set up and take-down. Stuart found a shaded corner of the 17 Ave pool parking lot, just west of Semiahmoo High School.

Coffee Meetings

We meet every Sunday at 3pm for coffee and a chance to share our recent adventures with radio technology. We really enjoy meeting new people who are interested in learning about Amateur Radio or even other Hams! Join us this Sunday. We currently meet at the food court in Semiahmoo Mall.
