Club Sponsored Activities

These activities are attended by multiple members of the club. Generally they are also sponsored by the club but may involve outside orgainzations.

Members of the club gathered Saturday morning to try their hand at the annual BC contest. We operated out of the Lounge in Centennial Arena and used Konsta's K3s with 500W amp. It was working well except for the poor band conditions and low activity. We all had a hand at the radio and tried to bring

Club members met at Ralph's home to help raise his tower. It had been lowered earlier in the year to enable servicing. The tower went up with out  problems and Ralph is now back on the HF air!

 

Club members gathered in the Lounge at Centennial Arena to participate in this years annual RAC Winter Contest. This year we had the pleasure of using Konstatin's new Elecraft K3S radio and power amplifier.  It was a pleasure to use and the power amp made breaking through some pile-ups much easier
