Club Members gathered in the Lounge at the Arena to participate in the ARRL Sweeptakes contest. Nine came out to the activity with most taking a short stint at the radio to grab a few contacts. We were operating from 1pm through 4pm and made 16 contacts. Perhaps not a high number but we were all

Ralph and Eric hiked to the summit of Sumas Mountain to activate the peak for the Summits-on-the-air program. It was a lovely day for the hike but the wind on the summit was quite strong and added a new challenge to the event. Ralph was able to make 15 contacts on 20m CW. Eric pulled out 6 on 2m. So

Eric brought his new 'Tiny VNA' analyzer and

Field Day morning dawned bright and warm.  It had been in the low twenties most of the week before (and then some) so we were anticipating a dry day.
